ABOUT US
Hawkridge Glamping features an eco-friendly yet luxuriously furnished yurt tent set in the countryside, 4 km outside Catignano and 30 km from Pescara. The yurt is amidst olive groves and 5-hectare private grounds.
With sweeping views to the Maiella mountains the yurt is situated on a small organic farm, thirty minutes from the Abruzzo International Airport, at Pescara, and just a two hour drive from Rome.
There are several National Parks within a short distance where the amazing scenery and fine cuisine of Abruzzo may be enjoyed. Essentially a space for two, we can provide two extra beds for children under-16 or a tent, which can also be fun for children, on request.
Towels, bed linen and a hairdryer are provided at Hawkridge Glamping, and in winter a wood-burning stove is available. Free private parking is also available at this tented camp. Free use of bicycles is available at the property. In winter, the area is popular for skiing.
The bedroom forms half of the main body of the yurt and has a beautifully comfy memory foam mattress. From the bed one may gaze through the central roof opening to the stars or through the large panoramic windows to the mountains beyond. The principle light source inside the yurt is from candlelight, which enhances a very special atmosphere.
