Ireland is located in the North Atlantic to the west of the UK and has a coastline of some 1450km with many small islands dotted around, water features strongly in the makeup of the country from the ocean that laps the blue flag beaches to the lakes, meandering rivers and canals.

The ‘Emerald Isle’ did not get its name by chance, its is very green, the weather is surprising mild and although a little unpredictable its rarley extreme.
