A unique opportunity to stay enjoy a quirky holiday on our 1981 Leyland Atlanteen converted Double Decker Bus. Betsy Blue provides luxury accomodation with three bedrooms on the top deck – one double, one bunk beds (suitable for children) and a single, a travel cot can be provided upon request. Bed linen, towels, tea, coffee, milk & toiletries are also provided.

Downstairs you will find a fully equipped kitchen with cooker, hob and fridge. A seating area with a television / DVD player, this easily turns into a eating space, all kept cosy with a woodburner to relax in front of while enjoying the stunning views across the Stretton Hills.

Adjoining Betsy is a bathroom consisting of a shower and toilet with a heated dressing area with wardrobe, hairdryer, iron, ironing board and storage for clothes. There is a private garden space with patio furniture which hosts an outdoor hot tub to ensure you are completely relaxed on this break on our rural smallholding.

Complete your break by cooking yourself a home ‘grown’ breakfast with our sausages, bacon and freshly laid free range eggs for your breakfast.

Location
We are on the outskirts of the village Ryton with a dog friendly country pub within walking distance that serves real ale and great food, Shrewsbury is only 5 miles away and boasts 660 listed buildings, and a museum can be visited in the Music Hall, it was founded by the Saxons and developed mostly by the Tudors.

The town centre consists of Medieval streets which are lined with unique buildings containing original shops in streets with names like Butcher Row, Fish Street and Grope Lane.

Founded in 1083, the Shrewsbury Abbey was once centre of Norman and Medieval power in the region as well as the centre of a daily prayer, study and work for a community of monks. It’s still a place of worship today and well worth a visit.

Shrewsbury Castle was once in place to guard the town, inside the walls lies the museum of the Shropshire Regiments, which is dedicated to the King’s Shropshire Light Infantry. We are also close to the equally historic Church Stretton and Much Wenlock.
