Newquay & Perranporth, Cornwall
Our North Cornwall Yurts are in the perfect position to enjoy all that the North Coast has to offer, with 70 miles of long sandy beaches it’s a well renowned place for water sports enthusiasts and home to some of the world’s most famous surf breaks. The stunning scenery, cliff top walks and celebrity restaurants including Rick Steins and Jamie Oliver’s ‘Fifteen’ makes this a great choice for families or those with a keen interest in ocean sports.
If you want to leave the getting wet to the surfers then there are an abundance of dry activities that are sure to keep you busy all day long. Our favourites are the Tintagel Castle, set high on the rugged North coast and well-known for its picturesque views and historical background and the camel trail, a great way to explore Cornwall at its best on two wheels or foot.
You will find the small seaside resort of Perranporth just 10 minutes away from the cottages, giving you plenty of choice when planning a great day out. Lounge on the long stretch of beach, get wet and wild with a surf lesson, or take a visit to the golf course with amazing views across the bay. If you get a little peckish then head for a bite to eat at ‘The Watering Hole’ a popular restaurant actually situated right on the beach.
