Welcome to Lake Shkodra Resort. We are an Albanian and English family owned camp site and holiday resort situated directly on the beautiful Lake Shkodra. We are a 20 minute drive from Montenegro (24km) on the newly finished SH1 road. Situated only 7km from Shkoder city centre, and on-route to the popular destinations of Vermosh and Thethi in the Albanian Alps.

Our grounds are 2.5 hectares (over 6 acres) in size and include a private beach with direct access into the lake. Our beach front restaurant and bar specialises in grilled meats & seafood, traditional Albanian cuisine, pizzas and home grown organic vegetables. The resort boasts breathtaking views and is in a peaceful rural location, yet close to Shkoder. We offer excursions to Thethi, Valbone, Vermosh, Kruja, Lake Koman and Shkoder.

Our Accommodation
Glamping: We have a mixture of accommodation available, ranging from our luxury lodge to our bell tent hotel rooms and Shepherds Hut.

Camping: We can accomodate all types of camping, pitches, motorhomes and caravans.

Albania is a small thin country and has over 360km of unspoilt Adriatic and Ionian coastline, uninhabited islands, lakes, mountains, nature reserves and UNESCO world heritage sites. UNESCO world heritage sights include – Butrint, famous for its ancient Greek and Roman ruins, which include a Roman amphitheater, public baths and early Christian basilicas. Berat for its well preserved 13th century town and Gjirokastër or Gjirokastra for its Ottoman architecture.
